Becoming an EWN participant

The participants of the Ecumenical Water Network consist of churches and other Christian organizations. However, we value the collaboration with other faith communities and social actors. If you are interested in a partnership with EWN please contact us.

Step 1.

Review the agreement “Water for Life” which describes the purpose and principles of the Ecumenical Water Network. If your organization can endorse the “Water for Life” agreement, you are welcome to join the Ecumenical Water Network.

Step 2.

Determine how you can support the Ecumenical Water Network. Organizations that choose to be participants of the Network are expected to:

  • support the work of the Ecumenical Water Network with financial and other resources.

  • engage actively in the work of the Ecumenical Water Network through advocacy efforts and awareness raising.

Step 3.

Fill in the sign-up form and return it to the Secretariat of the Ecumenical Water Network. The EWN International Reference Group receives all applications and confirms new participants.

By becoming an official participant you commit yourself to contributing to the objectives of the network as described in the EWN Basic Agreement: Water for Life. Your church or organization will be invited to attend the EWN Global Fora which take place regularly as a space for sharing experiences and shaping strategies. Participant organizations are also entitled to present candidates for the EWN International Reference Group.
